The Ko-Yon match, from the viewpoint of a foreign student
Every year there are many foreign students joining Korea University. Last month new coming foreign students of this semester were organized to join the famous Ko-Yon match, and they not only enjoyed the game, and cheer up activities, but also impressed by the cordial atmosphere.
One foreign student from Taiwan said, this is the greatest school event he had ever experienced.
On the decks for observers in the gymnasium, all Korea University students were cheering and dancing with the music and cheer leaders.Enthusiastic red and blue made the field almost boil over, everyone’s emotions rose and fell with the game scores and conditions.
After the game foreign students also gathered at Sinchon to join the party.
Although in the match these two schools are competitors, in the party everyone is all friend. They cheer together, dance together, and clapped each other on the hand just like a big family.
“I am very happy to have this opportunity to join the Ko-Yon match.” he said,
“This is not merely sport games, but a great event to unite students for the glory of schools. It is also improving the interaction between Korea University and Yonsei University, even a representative of the vitality of Korean”, he emphasized.
